Description
On May 1st 1972 the Cayman Islands Currency Board commenced operations with the issue of new coins and banknotes for circulation. Collectors coins were also issued in conjunction with the grandly named World Coin Corporation.It is likely that all coins for the Cayman Islands are made under contract by various other mints.
